Overview
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO LEARN?
This course consists of 4 lessons and an exercise section to practice designing web comics. In the first lesson we have some videos to introduce you to the origins and evolution of comics until today. In the second lesson we explain the fundamentals of storytelling with images, where images are much more important than text. In the third lesson we look at the structure, style and format of a comic book. It is a set of internationally accepted basic rules which, if not followed, would be like writing with spelling mistakes. Finally, in Lesson 4 we teach you how to use a tool to design comics in web format, where you can use all your imagination and creativity to tell short stories with images.
WHAT IS ABOUT THIS RESOURCE?

WHAT TOOL WE ARE GOING TO USE?
In this course we will focus on the development of Webcomics. A webcómic is just a digital comic.
For the design of web comics we will rely on the makebeliefscomix platform
https://www.makebeliefscomix.com/
MakeBeliefsComix is a free online tool. It allows you to create comics in a simple way without knowing how to draw. All the elements that will make up our panels are available in the site’s gallery as described later in the course.
Compared to other paid platforms such as https://www-es.pixton.com/, MakeBeliefscomix has certain limitations in terms of variety of characters, gestures, etc. but it is enough to get started in the world of comics and have fun creating your own world of comics where imagination and creativity have no limits.
